Memorabilia from a bygone era: The Greek Orthodox church of Helwan, the southern suburb of Cairo, where Eltaher sought refuge for a day or two while he was a fugitive in 1941. The church priest was the father of Dr. Jacques Khouri, Eltaher's friend and future Arab League senior official.
