The King of Morocco, Hassan II, delegated his ambassador to Lebanon Abdelqader Sahraoui, and the President of Tunisia, Habib Bourguiba, delegated his ambassador to Lebanon Ahmed Amamou, seen in the picture, to represent them at the funeral. The Lebanese president, Sleiman Franjieh, delegated a representative who caught up with the procession later on.
