When Eltaher visited Tunisia in 1956 the first time after its independence, he inspected an honour guard at Tunis Laouina-Airport (Now Tunis-Carthage Airport). To his right is Tayeb Mhiri, Minister of the Interior and to his left is Ali Belhaouen.
